Bring More Knives.

After months
and months
and months of searching.

I was able to acquire the audio files for

"Dreams of Stabbing and/or Being Stabbed (2001)" - My Chemical Romance
better known as the "Attic Demos"

(I got them over MSN, from some kid in Australia)

Unfortunately, though my mission was to get all
the albums in hard copy,
it seems that mp3 files is all I will be able to get for this.

Crossed Off.

Recent Album Purchases
A.k.a. Things to cross off my list.

Eight & a half more days of school.

I think I'm getting carpal tunnel syndrome.
No, wait... that's from jacking off.

I think I'm getting a heart murmur.
My heart sounds irregular.
But that's probably just caffeine.

I think I'm getting fat.
It's all those vegan cookies.

Damn hypochondriac.
My Stomach hates me.
My Intestines want me dead.
My brain is going on strike.

This name-brand water tastes delicious.
It's the God to the coffee's Satan.

And I consciously exaggerate for journalistic effect.
I think my short-term memory is dying.
I read a line of my paper,
scroll down,
and immediately forget what I just read.

It's all that coffee.
This coffee is rancid.
This coffee is the taste of death and eternal damnation all in one.
This coffee tastes like someone just sucked out the grey matter of my brain.
This coffee taste like someone just stole my wallet.

I still want a tofurky sandwich.

Well, What Did You Expect?

I procrastinate for 3 months,
and then I'm frustrated that I have to do a 15 page paper
in 12 hours.

Idiot.

It's a mind-numbing river of caffeine and reality TV.
Screw you TV.
Your late night shows blow.

...not that I'm still procrastinating.

I think I want a sandwich.
I'm thinking Tofurky, Vegan cheese & Mustard on Rye.

and some chocolate soy milk.
man...I really live on the edge.

Time Of Your Life.

David Cook won American Idol.

...notthatIcare. =)

as cheesy as it is...
people accomplishing their goals on live TV
makes me sad happy.

THINK HAPPY (MUTHERFUCKING) THOUGHTS.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE BLAMED FOR TEEN SUICIDE.

Memorable quotes from this article:

"Two weeks before her death, she started following U.S. band My Chemical Romance."

"One of the foremost of these "suicide cult" bands is My Chemical Romance, from New Jersey."

"One of their songs contains the lyrics: "Although you're dead and gone, believe me your memory will go on."
---------------------------------------------

I'm going to say this with all the due respect
to someone who was obviously troubled.
It's always a tragedy when someone commits suicide,
especially when they're 13.

But once again,
the media has used a band/music genre
as scapegoat.

Using this girl's death to target a band
cheapens her.
And the band is seriously misrepresented.
This is a band who's self-proclaimed purpose is to SAVE LIVES.
And they don't often let you forget it.

"If you, or someone you know are severely depressed, you need to fucking talk to someone! Your best friend, your mom, somebody at school. I don't give a fuck, because pissing away your life on suicide is fucking bull shit!"
-Gerard Way.

"Like, you should never want to hurt yourself. You should love yourself." -Gerard Way

Maybe the blame should be placed on society.
After all,
she's been part of this profoundly misguided society for 13 years.
She only listened to My Chemical Romance for two weeks.

Wake Up. You're Alive.

-About 19,000 young adults attempted suicide in the U.K. last year.
-In the U.S. this year, nearly 33,000 people will commit suicide.
-88 Americans die by suicide EVERY DAY.
-Nearly 1 of 10 students in the U.S. self-injures.
-1 of 4 self-injurers started before the age of 13.

Rescue Is Possible.

Yeah. Staying Alive.

...Staying alive is the single hardest thing in life.

Devotion, Desire & a Steady Stream of Alcohol.

Bukowski.

Care for a dose
of cynicism?

{Listening To: "Blame It On Bad Luck" -Bayside}

Tortures Of The Damned-To-Monotony.

.ALTER-EGOs. (The Other "I")

It's an intriguing concept, for various reasons.
One such reason is merely the romanticism of fantasy.
Make yourself up.
Polarize yourself.
Skew the colors. Skew your positives & negatives.

Become.Anyone.You.Want.

And then there is the aspect of cowardice.
You need not take responsibility
when you can say you were only playing a role.
No repercussions.
No guilt.
Hide in a shell of your own mind.
Present yourself as strong and unfazed.
Scream obscenities.
Jump off a cliff.
Slam your car into a wall.

Nothing.Can.Touch.You.When.You're.Not.You.

It also gives one depth,
There is a fucked-up postmodern disenchanting quality
with casting aside your skin.
Taking on a new persona.
Don't you want to talk to that person
who is not really a person,
more of a character, really?
Much more interesting than
the solitary pifalls of a modern existence.
Be a count.
Be a vampire.
Be a fucking superhero.

All.The.Cool.Kids.Are.Doing.It.

This Is How We Roll In 'The Land of Make Believe'.

I was awake until 3:00 AM last night.
But here I am, awake ate 8 in the damn morning.

Julia= caffeine powered.

at least it's a 'green' energy source.

I am currently writing my paper on Bukowski
& his disenchantment with American soul-darkening monotony.

I'm contemplating using lyric from 'Cubicles' (My Chem)

Also...I want to advocate the Aiden album 'Conviction'.
It's stellar.
To listen to, not in a obsessive I-am-going-to-model-my-life-after-Wil-Francis way.
but in a I-want-to-listen-to-something-rad, way.
It has a lot of heart-pumping choruses with
invigorating yells and crowd singing.

If you haven't already listened to it
I reccomend:
-Teenage Queen
-The Sky Is Falling
-One Love
-She Will Love You.

Just listen to the whole damn album.
It's Sunday,
wtf else are you doing at the moment?

JULIA: "Fo' Sho!"
ANNA: "Ma' Nizzle!"
JULIA: "What? That only comes after Fo' SHIZZLE!"

I'm a douchebag.

making my CD shopping list.

No wonder I don't get anything important done.

I Do believe I'm a tad addicted to My Chem & Gerard Way.
But Just a tad, you know?

It's not like I model my outfits or behaviours after him.

Catch The Wind, We're Gonna See It Spin.

I've got a list a mile long of things I should be doing.

I should start my Bukowski paper.
I should start my Gun Control paper.
I should do my laundry.
I should go get some exercise.
I should drink less caffeine.
I should go take a shower.

...but I won't.
We both know that.

I'm a lazy, lazy person
and I will most likely just continue searching
random things in google.

The Jingle Jangle Morning.

THE JINGLE JANGLE MORNING.

It's not that difficult Mr. Castro.
(If you're not into American Idol, just ignore me)

.....sigh.

ANYWHO.
Yesterday, Anna & I went to this little yard sale
and bought some records:
-Fleetwood Mac
-Billy Idol
-the Westside Story soundtrack.

......and a velvety vest thing.
It's soft.

TODAY
Anna & Rachael & I walked to the music store.
Anna got some records:
-Grease soundtrack.
-The Rolling Stones

Rachael got Blondie.

erm....yeah.
that's it.

OH.
and I got asked if I was a "blood",
I was wearing a bright pink bandana
that apparently appeared red.
YEAH....I really look like a gang member.

You Slept Safe, And Close To The Window.

SATs were today.

I bomb-diggity-bombed the math part.
Ahh....me & numbers don't mix too well.

My essay was stellar though.
I was both pretentiously annoying and mildly charming. =)

Anywhosit...I haven't been on my PC lately.
I was having sort of a technological aversion.
Meh...but it couldn't last too long.
I'm too conveniently addicted.

Err..this week was uneventful to the extreme.
Highlight?
-I bought "8 Mile" and that The Doors' movie for 10 dollars.
.Total.

God/Jesus/Allah/Buddha/Satan/whatever-the-hell-else-you-believe-in
bless Wal-Mart.

Oh...and I got "IV" by Chuck Klosterman (one of my favorite books) ON CD.
(as in, I can listen to it on my Ipod whenever I damn well please)

Attention: this man is the definition of RAD.
& his voice is just about as nasal and whiny as I expected.

Eh..I'm going to go take some predictably trite
pictures with my sister...
and then...
I'll probably go watch Eminem get in on
with Brittany Murphy.
....RAUNCHY.....

What are YOU going to do with today?
